Clayton Haskell was born and raised in Virginia where he begin to explore behind the lens from the age of 6. By the age of 15, Clayton's experimental film work received the attention of his high school and was commissioned his 1st commercial project for which he later received the "Board of Governors Award of Excellence".
The summer of graduating high school, Clayton joined older brother on a transatlantic voyage aboard a 30ft sailboat and from Chesapeake Bay, Virginia to Algarve, Portugal. This voyage was the subject of Haskell's 1st documentary "The Bait Brothers" which later was sold and aired on Google's Current Tv.
Clayton continued his film studies at the Savannah College of Art and design where he directed and shot an award winning short film "Lyra Lezama", that he produced in Havana, Cuba. Subsequent to earning his Bachelors degree in 2005 in Film & Televsion, Haskell's work was recognized by the College and published into their "best of" reel.
Haskell is presently a Brooklyn based filmmaker pursuing his professional career. In 2009 he became a member of the International Cinematographers Guild. He specializes on directing and shooting both features and commercials, and counts among his clients such prestigious brand names as BENTLEY,VOGUE,PEPSI,TARGET, and DESQUARED. He recently wrapped the feature film "Portrait of a Zombie" in Dublin, Ireland and currently is working on Louis C.K.'s new tv series for FX in New York City. His feature Directorial debut titled 'Paper Moon' is currently in development.

Paper moon is an original story by Clayton Haskell.
The screenplay is being written and developed by Clayton & Ann Haskell. The feature film 'Paper Moon' will be Haskell's directorial debut and production is slated for 2010.
